ABIA STATE WATER AND SEWAGE CORPORATION (AbSWSC) was established with a mandate of supplying drinking water to people living in urban and semi-urban areas of Abia state. Most of the Local Governments have semi-urban schemes located at their LGA headquarters. Abia State Water And Sewage Corporation utilizes both surface and groundwater sources.

In furtherance to this and compliance with industry regulations, AbSWSC has made appropriate documentation, which includes a privacy policy. AbSWSC, therefore, provides notice about this policy, applicable procedures and identifies the purposes for which personal information is collected, used, processed, disclosed, retained and disposed of Throughout this Privacy Policy, we use the term “personal information or data” to describe information that can be associated with a specific person and can be used to identify that person. We do not consider personal information to include information that has been made anonymous so that it does not identify a specific user.
